 Times for the School Day

As most of our pupils come in to school on transport provided by the Local Authority and some live quite a distance from the school, pupils are supervised in school at any time from 8.30am.

Pupils go into class groups 8:50am
Break time 10:10am to 10:30am
Lunch time 12:00noon to 1:00pm
End of the school day 3:00pm

Pupils who are staying for extended day or overnight are collected from the hall at 3.00pm and go into the residential department.

 Phonics & Reading Schemes

Ash Field Academy uses Phonic schemes provided by Ruth Miskin .

The school is currently researching reading schemes as part of the reading priority.  Pupils are currently using individualised approaches to support the development of reading.
