What is Early Help Offer?

Early help can be offered by any organisation. It is designed to provide a family with support as soon as a problem emerges. It can be for a child at any age from foundation years up to 19. It can also help stop further problems arising. It is not social care and, whilst it can lead to statutory intervention, it is designed to prevent that from happening.
