On 2^nd October 2019 two members of Ash Field Academy  attended a fantastic launch event at the King Power stadium. The event was to  launch  the “We stand for you” strategy through the Leicester City in the Community charity.

The event showcased the fantastic work that LCitC have been  doing  in the community and their clear vision for the future.

It was inspiring to hear from Ash Field Academy pupils both  past and present who have worked alongside the charity to increase awareness of disability in the community.

They  have also engaged with local employers, volunteered at a range of sporting events and worked with local primary schools.

It is fantastic to see our amazing pupils working in partnership with the charity and providing the community with positive role models.
