Our Inclusion and SEND Hub has a strong track record of supporting Early Primary, Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training programmes with their SEND provision. 

We offer various SEND and Inclusion specific workshops to ensure trainees have a good understanding of supporting SEND pupils in their classrooms through Quality First Teaching. We believe that every Teacher is a teacher of SEND and we want ITT students to have both the confidence and competence to meet the needs of every learner in their class. 

Annually, our Inclusion and SEND Hub supports over 300 Specialist School Placement throughout Leicester City in collaboration with our partner schools. We believe these placements are invaluable to trainees to gain a deeper understanding of SEND learners and appreciation of a career in Specialist Education.
