Challenge Partners
Challenge Partners is an education charity, led by practitioners, through which schools collaborate to improve each other and the education system as a whole, so all children benefit. Their programmes are grounded in evidence of what works, regular quality assurance, and sharing the collective wisdom in their schools.
All schools and trusts within our partnership join our National Network of Excellence. For more information please follow this link to their website: Challenge Partners
The Ash Field Challenge Partners Hub includes eight unique, diverse and amazing specialist schools. As part of of our strategic vision, the schools in the Ash Field Hub are working together on providing outstanding leadership in all of our schools across the Hub. Specifically, we train our leaders to be reflective practitioners who can promote discussion, challenge and best practice around the articulation of curriculum and provision for learners with SEND.
Our Hub priorities for 23.24 intend to develop and promote the confidence and competence levels of leaders during CP Quality Assurance Reviews, contributing to an increase of Hub schools putting an 'Area of Excellence' forward within the next 24 months.
Our Hub activity this year consists of:
School Improvement Development Days | Similar to a CP QAR however these QARs take place between our Hub Schools. Peer Review teams are made up of a senior leader, middle leader and teacher.
SIDD days are a real opportunity for leadership at all levels to be reflective practitioners and gain insight into best practice in a fellow hub school which they can then share and possibly implement in their own school.
Teaching Assistant Exchange Programme | Each Hub school hosts TAs from fellow hub schools to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of best practice in a fellow hub school which they can then share in their own school.
Senior Leader Group | Each Hub school is represented by one senior leader in SLG. The group collaborative explores and shares best practice around the (23.24) themes of:
Wellbeing Online Safety Safeguarding
The SIDD, TA Exchange Days and Safeguarding Reviews are organised through this group as well. |
