Learning Facilitator




Learning Facilitators are to provide cover for Teachers throughout the school, across all pathways and all ages. Where cover is not needed, there will be an expectation to support with other appropriate duties as determined by the Principal or the Head of the Well-Being Team.


Applicants must have Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status or a relevant teaching qualification,English and Maths at GCSE grade C or above or an equivalent level 2 qualification.


Hours: 40 hours per week – 38 weeks per year plus 30 hours training.  1550 hours per annum (93.93%).   

Salary:  SSL scale pt 9 FTE £24,138 (Pro rata salary based on 1550 hours £22,672)

Lead Teaching Assistant




We are looking for an experienced TA/HLTA who is keen to develop their skills to effectively support the class teacher and lead the classroom teaching assistant team, alongside supporting pupils with their learning and care needs  

Applications are welcome from part-time candidates; however, you must be able to be flexible on working days in order to meet the needs of the school.  Please state clearly on the application form whether you are applying for a full-time or part-time position. 


Hours: 32.5 hours per week/38 weeks per year (Mon.-Fri.)  plus 30 hours training.  

Actual starting salary: AFAT pt 4 £17,381 or AFAT pt 5 £18,444 (for those with HLTA status)
