Free Engagement Model Training - Spring 2021
The engagement model is a statutory assessment tool that helps schools meet their duties in supporting pupils who are working below the level of the national curriculum and who are not engaged in subject-specific study.

Leicester City Teaching Schools’ Research Group
Every teacher a teacher of SEND
The Leicester City Teaching Schools’ Research Group is a teacher led research programme and works with a collaborative network of practitioners from both mainstream and specialist settings, to improve outcomes for learners with SEND in both our mainstream and specialist provision, through school-based action research linked to pupil outcomes.

Facilitation
The Leicester City Teaching Schools’ Research Group has capacity to support a group of up to 15 researchers to collaborate on school-based action research. The 9-month research programme was developed by an Evidence Lead in Education in 2018 and will be delivered by a research facilitator who had co-led this programme for the last 2 years and who has been involved with the Leicester City Teaching Schools Group for at least 5 years. The programme consists of 6 half day sessions through the academic year for training, research and collaboration. Due to COVID-19 sessions may have to be delivered virtually. Cancellations
If you are unable to attend a CPLD session, cancellations must be made in writing to afta@ashfield.leicester.sch.uk.
The following charges will apply (all costs quoted are inclusive of VAT):

These cancellation terms also apply to all last-minute bookings. It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure that all travel arrangements and time away from work are agreed and in place prior to making the booking.
Cooling Off Period
From the date of making your booking with us, whether online, phone, or post, you have 7 days from which to make a cancellation without charge. Thereafter your booking will be bound by our terms and conditions.
